We are looking for a Performance Testing Engineer to ensure our applications deliver strong performance, scalability, and reliability before reaching production.
You will work closely with developers, testers, architects, DevOps, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, analyze, and improve performance testing across enterprise applications and modern cloud-native environments.
- Define performance testing strategies, workload models, test plans, and success criteria based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and execute Load, Stress, Spike, Soak/Endurance, Scalability, and Capacity tests.
- Develop and maintain reusable performance test scripts, including parametrization, correlation, and dynamic data handling.
- Test Web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and mobile applications where applicable.
- Analyze response times, throughput, errors, transaction success rates, resource utilization, and scalability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis using application and infrastructure metrics.
- Create performance test reports and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work closely with developers, architects, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
- Support performance optimization, scalability, and capacity planning activities.
- Contribute to performance testing automation and CI/CD integration.
- Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool, preferably OpenText LoadRunner Enterprise / VuGen / Analysis.
- Experience with JMeter, Gatling, k6, NeoLoad or BlazeMeter is a plus.
- Good understanding of performance testing methodologies, workload modelling, scalability, capacity, and bottleneck analysis.
- Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, Web applications, distributed systems, and microservices.
- Scripting experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, or Groovy. JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or Icinga is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- English - advanced.
