- Need to work with the architect on deciding the final solutions
- Need to handle integration challenges with other teams, depending on the data sources
- Need to deal with configuration of the services in DBB, Apigee, Okta
- Deal with the relation with the Editor’s tech guys to managing the integration with their APIs
- Guarantee for the quality of the solution implemented
- Be a people manager, both technical and human skills, follow both technical and team collaboration needs of the members
- Have a product vision, working closely with BA in grooming for defining details of the US and identify limitations
- Strong experience with Java, especially Functional programming (Lambda, Stream API)
- Good knowledge of Spring framework
- Solid understanding of event-driven architectures, streaming and batch services
- Experienced with Apache Beam and Google Cloud Dataflow
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in data engineering, with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Testing mindset and DevOps-oriented thinking
- Familiarity with integration and security tools, such as Apigee and Okta
- Strong leadership and communication skills, product-oriented thinking, ability to align technical execution with business needs
