Context

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our team.

Responsibilities

o Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to imagine innovative solutions and identify cross-project synergies.
o Analyze the quality and availability of data sources relevant to the project.
o Explore data and test algorithms to assess project feasibility and potential value.
o Actively participate in project development alongside product leaders, business experts, developers, DevOps, Big Data architects, UX designers, Agile teams, data engineers, and fellow data scientists.
o Deeply analyze and understand the business problem at hand.
o Define an analytics strategy: prioritize ideas, define evaluation metrics, select tools and environments, and estimate business value.
o Implement complex data engineering and feature engineering workflows.
o Develop accurate and efficient machine learning models.
o Explore breakthrough solutions using deep learning.
o Design and develop components to orchestrate machine learning systems in production following MLOps best practices (data validation, preprocessing, training, model analysis, deployment, monitoring, etc.).

Qualifications

What we are looking for :
o Previous relevant experience as Data Scientist.
o Strong ability to understand and interpret diverse business challenges (marketing, engineering, quality, after-sales, etc.).
o Skilled at simplifying and presenting complex ideas and results.
o Excellent command of data processing and visualization libraries.
o Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms (clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, model optimization, image and natural language processing using deep learning).
o Proficient in at least the following programming languages: Python (required), SQL (required); experience with R, Scala, or Java is a plus.
o Familiarity with major ML frameworks: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, TFx, PyTorch (a plus).
o Experience with Spark is a plus.
o Experience in productionizing machine learning systems.

Familiarity with Docker, orchestration tools like Kubeflow, Airflow, or Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD (a plus).
o Nice to have: understanding of cloud development platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Storage, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, AI Platform).
o Ability to develop well-structured, production-grade code.
o Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
