Context:
In our evolving Agile environment, we are seeking an Enterprise Architect to help drive our digital transformation. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about architecture and eager to make an impact. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Agile teams, providing guidance and support to deliver effective solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with existing legacy systems while also bringing forward innovative ideas to modernize and enhance our technology landscape. A strong ability to navigate the complexities of a large organization and manage the challenges that come with diverse structures is essential for success in this role.
Main responsibilities:
- Define the Architecture Vision: contribute to the definition and maintenance of the Information Systems (IS) strategic plan
- Establish and maintain the architecture strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities
- Identify business opportunities where IT can deliver value
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and conduct technology watch and trend analysis
- Develop and maintain the architecture framework (guidelines, standards, principles) in alignment with the Group’s architecture strategy
- Advocate for architecture practices based on a clear value proposition
- Provide and update architectural reference models
- Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to evolve the Group’s architecture framework
- Govern and Control Architecture: evaluate project initiatives to ensure alignment with architectural strategy
- Participate in organizing and running architecture review boards and committees
- Contribute to project evaluations, validations, and solution selection processes
- Ensure architectural designs meet business requirements, IT standards, and the defined framework
- Support impact assessments and architectural studies based on evolving business needs
- Collaborate with project teams to challenge and guide architectural solution layers
- Provide recommendations to address performance, availability, and other non-functional requirements
- Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experience, and best practices within architecture teams
- Promote and disseminate architectural standards, principles, and guidelines across expert communities
- Support strategic initiatives and cross-functional IS topics
- Maintain architectural documentation and ensure relevant tools are up to date
What we are looking for :
Ideal Profile:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Must be willing to travel on occasion
- English - Fluent writing and speaking
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems / equivalent
- TOGAF
- Mandatory technical experience:
- Minimum 5 years of multi-disciplined IT experience (dev, analysis, ...)
- 4-5 years Architecture responsibilities in large sophisticated organization with high volume/high transaction environment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
- Able to design architectures and frameworks.
- Be able to document and address organization's data structure, solution architecture, and systems requirements throughout the full life cycle.
- Archimate designs
- Experience with mobile apps and websites.
- Broad proven business knowledge
- Previous experience with organizations that use mainframes (no in depth mainframe knowledge required, but awareness of the ins and outs)
Preferable technical experience:
- Experience with advanced technologies such as machine learning, data mining, text mining, deep- learning, natural language processing.
Business experience:
- Mandatory: GDPR
- Preferable: Private loans or leasing , Card payments, CRM, Accounting, Camunda
Soft skills:
- Strong communication and active listening abilities
- Collaborative team player with a cooperative mindset
- Fast learner with a proactive, self-driven attitude
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build alignment
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information
