Context:
- The main mission of an IT Business Analyst is to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing requirements, designing workflows, and ensuring successful implementation of IT projects.
- Provide support services in a finance ERP Functional team.
Responsibilities
- Supports financial type users in their daily ERP requirements
- Provide pro-active solution for finance and accounting business processes
- Construct SQL based reports to facilitate users’ activities
- Communicate with financial partners from clients all over the group (worldwide)
- Project support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science/Information Systems or similar work experience
- Very good knowledge (min 5 years experience) : Accounting booking, Stocks, AR, AP, General Ledger, Balance Sheet
- Knowledge of principles and general understanding of an ERP system/complex software solutions
- Ticketing systems utilization
- Experience in financial closings for month – end
- Written and verbal fluency in English (French it’s a plus)
- Strong analytical abilities, organized with attention to detail
- Very good communication skills are essential
- Be able to understand and follow all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations associated with this position
- Experience meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Strong customer focus, driven to continuous improvement of our leading-edge services and products, good problem-solving methodology, driven to achieve results, experience in multi-cultural environment would be an advantage
- SQL knowledge is a plus.
