- Need to implement microservices that would be consumed by other services or schedulers interacting with 3rd
party APIs - Be an expert on REST API design, following industry standards in terms of naming, Domain Driven Design, scalability, and security
- Integrate Oauth2 with an identity provider using OKTA
- Load test the implemented solution and define relevant KPIs
- Write technical specifications and API documentation using OpenAPI standards
- Have a product vision, working closely with the Tech Lead in technical grooming for defining details of the US and identifying limitations
- Good knowledge of Java programming, including Functional programming, Lambda expressions, and Stream API
- Strong experience with the Spring framework
- Good understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices
- Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud platforms
- Strong skills in REST API design, OpenAPI specifications, and industry-standard practices
- Experience with Oauth2 and identity provider integration (e.g., Okta)
- Good knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Testing-oriented mindset with strong DevOps awareness
- Excellent soft skills, including the ability to collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, product-oriented thinking, and attention to scalability and performance
