Context:
We are seeking a highly motivated L3 Support Specialist to join our team and take ownership of business critical production environments. The successful candidate has hands on experience in L2-L3 support, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the confidence to manage production systems in a fast paced environment. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain system stability, drive automation initiatives, support releases, and continuously enhance our production landscape.
Main responsibilities:
o Provide L2 L3 support for business critical production applications.
o Oversee incident, problem, and release management processes, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
o Execute automation tasks, application upgrades, deployments, and ongoing environment maintenance.
o Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across Linux systems, application servers, and databases.
o Participate in on call rotations and manage production escalations as needed.
o Take full ownership of assigned activities and ensure high quality delivery within the production environment.
What we are looking for :
o Minimum 3-4 years of experience in L2-L3 production support in a comparable role.
o Strong expertise in Linux with a solid understanding of system internals.
o Intermediate experience in Windows Server administration, including OS configuration, service management, and troubleshooting.
o Practical scripting experience using Linux shell or PowerShell.
o Experience working with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including writing complex SQL queries.
o Familiarity with application servers including Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, or JBoss.
o Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, etc.
o Understanding of deployment tools and CI CD pipelines.
o Good knowledge of SSL certificate management.
o Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and problem solving abilities.
o Ability to take ownership of production delivery and work independently.
o Willingness to participate in on call support when required.
o English and French - professional level.
o Nice to have: exposure to Cloud platforms & experience working in high availability environments or highly regulated industries.
