Description

As part of the Performance Testing division—responsible for managing test environment services—the Performance Tester plays a vital role. This expert is recognized for their strong proficiency in performance engineering and keen insight into business requirements. Collaborating closely with project teams, they deliver solutions tailored to specific needs.

Responsibilities

The team’s primary mission is to support technical approval test campaigns by offering in-depth performance expertise. This support ensures the validation of application technical capacities, utilizing test approaches derived from agile methodologies and integrated within a continuous integration framework.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in N2 support during Technical Homologation (HOT) campaigns, especially in test execution and conducting random analysis checks.

  • Ensuring performance platforms remain operational, including carrying out documented administrative tasks related to these platforms.

  • Contributing to the day-to-day administration and coordination of HOT team activities. This includes maintaining databases, liaising with N3 experts (responsible for test campaigns), and facilitating communication within the team and with management.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in using performance testing tools such as LoadRunner Enterprise (formerly Performance Center).

  • Skilled in writing and debugging performance test scripts.

  • Solid understanding of performance random analysis checks.

  • Familiarity with tools like Gatling (from Gatling Corp), Apache JMeter, or NeoLoad (from Tricentis) is a plus.

  • Experience with performance analysis and reporting tools such as AppDynamics and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is highly valued.

  • Knowledge of J2EE analysis tools including GCEasy, FastThread, HeapHero, and Java Mission Control.

  • Exposure to continuous testing tools used in DevOps environments, such as Jenkins and Xray.

  • Fluency in English is required; French is a bonus.
