Context
You will be responsible for leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA across multiple business areas, including Finance, O2C, S2P, EWM and TM, Quality, Design to Operate (covering Product Engineering – Material and BOM, Manufacturing, and Maintenance), Prototype, Hire to Retire (Payroll), and Technology (Basis, Security, and Systems Integration), with Master Data Governance serving as a cross-functional stream throughout the program.
Main responsibilities:
- You will manage full life-cycle projects across all key implementation phases—including vendor RFP, blueprint localization and re-use, build, cutover, and post-implementation support—while providing project management expertise and leading work streams in alignment with established methodologies.
- This includes leading cross-functional implementation teams, overseeing consulting resources from strategic implementation partners, and scoping, planning, and managing projects to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- You will be responsible for detailed local planning, reporting KPIs at various governance levels, identifying and assessing risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and ensuring all project outcomes meet both internal and external customer requirements.
What we are looking for :
- The ideal candidate must be willing to travel for business purposes, both nationally and internationally within Europe.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or an MBA, and bring 5 to 10 years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years specifically with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- They must demonstrate a strong understanding of clients' functional business processes across key areas such as IS/IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Human Resources, and Engineering.
- A customer-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work transversally in a global environment are essential, along with the willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Fluency in English is required, and Spanish is considered a plus.
- A valid Category B driving license is also necessary.
- The candidate should possess proven leadership and managerial capabilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level and effectively manage teams of more than ten functional and technical experts.
- They should be proficient in project management tools and methodologies, and well-versed in strategic and operational project management, including resource allocation, documentation, and record-keeping. Competence in managing financials, HR, quality, timelines, and risk is also essential.
