Context
We are seeking a SAP EWM S/4HANA consultant to ensure the consistency of end-to-end solution integration. This role involves collaborating with IT teams throughout the implementation and deployment phases of the S/4HANA Finance project. The primary objective is to gain expertise in the solution and oversee its successful implementation.
o Assist in business workshops during the design of the future Core Design to ensure seamless end-to-end integration of the S/4HANA Finance solution.
o Support EWM configuration adjustments based on business workshop outcomes.
o Manage relationships with stakeholders and development teams.
o Draft detailed specification documents in English.
o Provide MVP startup support.
o Identify post-MVP releases in collaboration with the IT teams and define implementation methods to minimize operational impacts on the existing information system.
o Contribute to integration, testing, and migration strategy.
o Leverage digital expertise to enhance proposed solutions, ensuring best practices and alignment with market standards.
o Offer recommendations for potential improvements to the product backlog.
o Support the Product Owner in prioritizing the Product Backlog.
o Suggest prioritization adjustments based on perceived business value.
o Actively participate in the Product Backlog lifecycle.
o Ensure the Product Backlog remains visible, transparent, and well-documented for all stakeholders.
o Define and detail each selected feature as a User Story, ensuring it is small enough to be implemented within a sprint and includes clear acceptance criteria.
o Understand and prioritize Technical Stories and Defect Stories as suggested by the team.
o Clarify any User Story upon request from the Development Team during a sprint.
o Participate in and contribute to Agile events with the team.
What we are looking for :
o Strong business analysis and consultancy expertise.
o Ability to model business flows in the new IS system based on S/4HANA.
o In-depth knowledge of warehouse management processes and the EWM module.
Define and manage supply chain and procurement domain interfaces.
o Solid understanding of MM, SD, and FI integration.
o Hands-on experience configuring EWM in the S/4HANA system.
o Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
o Excellent listening and communication skills.
o Fluency in English; French is a plus.
o Experience working on innovative projects with strong business involvement.
o Team-oriented mindset with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
o Ability to synthesize information and present clear insights.
o Comfortable sharing and transferring knowledge to agile teams and stakeholders.
o Profile
o Over five years of experience in large-scale transformation projects and at least two years of experience in Agile projects
o Proven track record in ERP S/4HANA implementation or deployment, specifically with the Extended Warehouse Management module.
o Strong understanding of the Supply Chain Management domain in S/4HANA.
