SAP SD Consultant – S/4HANA
Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant. The role involves providing expert guidance to ensure the consistency and full end-to-end integration of the O2C solution, participating in the implementation and deployment phases of the S/4HANA Finance project. The goal is to take ownership of the O2C solution and manage its successful rollout in close collaboration with IS/IT and business project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support business workshops to define the future Core Model and ensure seamless integration of the S/4HANA Finance O2C processes.

  • Adapt and configure the Order-to-Cash module based on business requirements identified in workshops.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between stakeholders and development teams.

  • Produce comprehensive functional specification documents in English.

  • Support the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) launch phase.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and plan post-MVP releases, minimizing disruptions to existing systems.

  • Contribute to the Master Data and Data Cleansing strategy for successful system integration.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of integration, testing, and data migration activities.

  • Provide digital insight to enhance proposed solutions from Product Owners, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.

  • Advise on potential improvements to the product backlog and assist in its prioritization.

  • Recommend adjustments to prioritization based on business value.

  • Contribute to the overall lifecycle management of the Product Backlog.

  • Ensure the Product Backlog remains clear, visible, and well-understood by all stakeholders.

  • Break down features into actionable user stories, including clear acceptance criteria for development within a sprint.

  • Understand and prioritize technical stories and defect resolution items as proposed by the development team.

  • Clarify user stories as needed during sprint cycles.

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with the Scrum team.

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business analysis capabilities.

  • Experience modeling business processes in an S/4HANA-based information system.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Order-to-Cash process within SAP.

  • Experience defining and managing both master and transactional data interfaces for the O2C domain.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA configuration.

  • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent listening and articulation skills.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Strong collaboration skills and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

  • Comfortable with knowledge sharing and mentoring team members and stakeholders.

  • Familiar with working on innovative, business-driven digital projects.

Ideal Profile:

  • Over 5 years of experience in large-scale ERP or digital transformation projects.

  • Proven track record with SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly in the Order-to-Cash domain.

  • Familiarity with SAP PO (Process Orchestration) and BTP (Business Technology Platform) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 years working in Agile environments, particularly on digital projects.

  • Strong command of English is essential.
