Main mission of the new colleague: support the monitoring and animation of supplier logistics performance, both currently and in the context of SAP S/4HANA implementation and post-implementation. He/she will be directly reporting to the Supply Chain General Manager.
Pre-SAP Implementation Activities (Ongoing Operations):
o Track and assess supplier logistics performance, including delivery timeliness, order quantities, and OTIF (On Time In Full) indicators.
o Analyze stock levels to identify potential stockout risks and take preventive measures.
o Coordinate and lead regular meetings with suppliers to review progress and follow up on agreed action plans.
o Work closely with internal departments (procurement, transport, planning, production) to resolve supply chain issues efficiently.
o Compile and deliver periodic reports on logistics performance metrics.
o Validate the accuracy of ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices) received via EDI, ensuring alignment between shipments and receipts and maintaining flow traceability.
o Plan, organize, and carry out APLF audits in line with internal standards.
o Document audit outcomes by drafting clear and concise meeting minutes.
o Develop performance improvement plans and oversee their execution.
o Monitor the status of ongoing audits and ensure timely closure of all audit cases.
o SAP S/4HANA Project Involvement (Approx. 20% of workload):
o Support the design and validation of SAP processes related to supplier logistics (including MM, procurement, and inbound logistics).
o Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), reviewing and validating test scenarios for supplier communication and EDI/ASN data flows.
o Assist with data migration activities by reviewing and validating supplier records, stock data, and open purchase orders.
o Contribute to cut-over planning and execution, ensuring data migration integrity and continuity of supply flows.
o Identify and escalate supplier logistics risks or process gaps to the SAP project team.
o Post-SAP Implementation Support (Stabilization and Optimization):
o Continuously monitor and drive supplier performance using tools and reports available in SAP S/4HANA.
o Evaluate the quality of incoming ASNs via EDI and implement corrective actions in case of discrepancies or errors.
o Provide day-to-day support to SAP users for activities such as order tracking, receiving, and traceability.
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions based on SAP data insights.
o Organize and facilitate training sessions or support initiatives for both internal teams and suppliers, as needed.
o Deliver regular reports to management regarding logistics performance and the stability of processes following SAP go-live.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain / Supplier Logistics / Production Planning
o Proven experience in monitoring and animating supplier performance
o Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics flows, and performance indicators
o Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage)
o Familiarity with EDI data exchanges and ASN verification is a strong advantage.
o Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
o English – mandatory (written and spoken, advanced level)
o French and/or Spanish – nice to have (conversational level)
o Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills
