Responsibilities

o Install and manage Windows Server infrastructure, VMware Aria (vRealize/vROPS), MSSQL Clusters, and Active Directory.

o Design, develop, operate, and enhance automated workflows for server deployment, maintenance, and operations.

o Modernize traditional infrastructure to support cloud integration and incorporate cloud services into the infrastructure portfolio.

o Standardize and automate administration and configuration processes.

o Provide 2nd-level support for incident management, including troubleshooting and resolving faults and handling service requests.

o Analyze and classify error causes as part of problem management.

o Contribute to configuration and asset management for relevant infrastructure components.

o Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and established processes.

o Manage software distribution, system updates, and security patches.

o Maintain security standards and compliance within the designated area.

o Implement capacity and availability management for system infrastructure.

o Set up and configure software and tools related to the Windows operating system.

o Make additions or modifications to installation manuals and procedures as needed. o Evaluate existing processes and propose potential improvements.

o Carry out functional tests on newly installed components, following predefined test cases outlined in existing procedures.

o Provide necessary updates to the Technical Lead and assist in preparing monitoring reports.

o Keep job descriptions, operating procedures, and documentation related to daily tasks up to date.

o Occasionally offer on-call support outside of regular business hours and record these activities using client tools.

Qualifications

o Experience with VMware Aria (vRealize/vROPS) administration.

o Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server.

o Administration of Windows File Server Clusters.

o Active Directory management. o Management of Exchange Server.

o Strong knowledge of MSSQL server administration.

o Certifications in the mentioned areas and experience in developing and implementing hardening guidelines are a plus.
