SAP SAC Expert
Description

Context: The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Expert supports the digital transformation of Finance and EPM ecosystems by enabling advanced analytics and planning solutions. Operating in an international environment, he/she works closely with Data, SAP Consultants, and Finance teams and plays a key role in the delivery of innovative SAP-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

  • Leadership and contribution to EPM transformation programs
  • Active participation in business and design workshops
  • Coordination and facilitation between business stakeholders and development teams
  • Production of technical design documentation and specifications (English)
  • Support to the Product Owner in prioritizing the Product Backlog
  • Proposal of backlog prioritization adjustments based on value and impact
  • Contribution to Product Backlog lifecycle management
  • Ensuring transparency, accessibility, and shared understanding of the Product Backlog across stakeholders
  • Breakdown of selected features into detailed User Stories with clear acceptance criteria to support sprint execution
  • Prioritization and clarification of Technical and Defect Stories raised by the development team
  • On-demand clarification of User Stories during sprint execution
  • Active participation in Agile ceremonies and team events
  • Support for the development of SAC stories, dashboards, and advanced analytical applications
  • Design, optimization, and maintenance of SAC data models and implementation of planning capabilities (Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, Calendar)
  • Integration of SAC with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP S/4HANA
  • Performance tuning of data models, connections, and reports
  • Conversion of business needs into robust and efficient reporting and planning solutions
  • Technical mentoring and active contribution to the skill development of the EPM team
Qualifications

What we are looking for :

Profile:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (Analytics and/or Planning)
  • Proven EPM expertise demonstrated through a minimum of three complex implementations
  • Strong background in data modeling, SAC integrations (BW, HANA, S/4), and planning processes
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with business and IT stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAC Data Analyst, Story Design) are a strong plus
  • Knowledge of ABAP, SQL, and/or SAP Datasphere is highly appreciated
  • Professional-level proficiency in English
  • Direct contribution to high-impact Finance and EPM transformation initiatives
  • Central role in defining SAC architectures, standards, and best practices
  • Exposure to international, cross-functional collaboration across Data, ABA SAP, and Finance teams
