- Define the cross-functional architecture for IT transformation initiatives, in close collaboration with product teams and fellow architects:
- Facilitate architecture definition workshops to collect business requirements and understand key processes
- Identify relevant data sources and required interfaces
- Assess high-level impacts on existing solutions and future product developments
- Encourage innovation enabled by technological advances and the company’s digital transformation
- Design the target architecture and outline the roadmap to reach it
- Document and formalize selected architectures in the architecture repository
- Work with Enterprise and Solution Architects to shape IT transformation roadmaps and manage the study portfolio
- Contribute to the definition of enterprise business information models and ensure their use in projects
Contribute to the internal architecture community:
- Develop and maintain the application and architecture mapping repository
- Continuously enhance architecture principles, standards, and guidelines
- Define and support the deployment of tools that industrialize architecture practices
- Participate in architecture governance bodies and support project decision-making from an architectural standpoint
Deliverables:
- Architecture principles and guidelines
- Global Architecture Specifications within project scopes
- Updated application and system mappings
Daily Team Activities:
- Active participation in agile ceremonies within the architecture squad
- Engagement in peer exchanges to share best practices and collaboratively resolve challenges
- Attendance at chapter-level team meetings
- In an agile environment, close collaboration with project teams, IT, and business stakeholders, applying architectural expertise
- Depending on project scope, interaction with partners and subsidiaries, including international stakeholders
What we are looking for :
Profile:
- Master’s degree in IT or a related field, with more than 10 years of experience in architecture roles
- Strong dual background in both Business and IT, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, or logistics domains
- Proven experience working in international contexts and matrix organizations
Skills and Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Architecture components
- Strong expertise in Cloud technologies, data management, and interoperability challenges
- Confirmed experience with SAP implementations and solid knowledge of core SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD)
- Expertise in Joint Venture Accounting is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in architecture modeling methodologies and tools
- Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with short-term transformation needs
- Excellent communication skills to articulate and defend architectural decisions beyond purely technical aspects
- Pragmatic mindset focused on delivering effective, value-driven solutions
- Strong capability to operate within agile frameworks
- Demonstrated team-oriented approach
- Fluency in both English and French
- Performance in this role is driven by attentiveness, critical thinking, and the ability to constructively challenge existing practices, fostering continuous improvement through experience and perspective.
