Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy and troubleshoot network configurations, routing policies and security rules.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise Layer 2 / Layer 3 (L2-L3) network infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage firewall policies and network security configurations.
  • Perform functional testing and validation after network or security changes, following test cases and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes and perform troubleshooting across network and security environments.
  • Create, update and review installation guides, operating procedures and technical documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to existing procedures, configurations and operational practices.
  • Provide technical updates to the Technical Lead and contribute to monitoring and reporting.
  • Follow established IT service management processes, including ITIL-based practices where applicable.
  • Provide occasional on-call support outside normal business hours, as required, and document related activities.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Cisco technologies, particularly routing and switching.
  • Experience with network security systems and firewalls, including Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA / FTD, Check Point and Fortinet.
  • Ability to independently manage an enterprise L2-L3 infrastructure, create and maintain routing and security rules, and troubleshoot incidents.
  • Good understanding of routing, switching, firewall policies and core network concepts.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with network setup and troubleshooting on Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with network setup and troubleshooting on Windows Server.
  • Experience working in structured IT service management environments and following ITIL practices.
  • Experience maintaining operational documentation, test procedures and monitoring reports.
  • Experience administering firewall rules and proxy technologies, including SOCKS5 proxy servers.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.
